Thanks

Thank
you for playing Michael Machen!
Everyone
who likes The Godfather Part II better than The Godfather, feels the need
to do something ridiculous like saying that Real Genius and A Fish Called
Wanda are better than The Godfather. Ridiculous.
Meanwhile
the rest of this list is a good, mainly quirky comedies of the last 20
or so years. Apocalypse Now -- have you seen the new director's cut? I
haven't seen The Deer Hunter. Butch Cassidy is very good and very funny,
with a great Burt Bacharach soundtrack. Rushmore is great. Did you like
The Royal Tenenbaums? I haven't seen The Deer Hunter. The Thin Red Line
and 2001 are great, but not my favorites or anything. The Blues Brothers
is a quotable classic favorite. I'm not sure that A Fish Called Wanda
holds up. I remember thinking Real Genius was pretty funny at the time,
haven't seen it in a while.
Worst 5 films ever
is fine, except while I agree that The Gladiator wasn't very good and
was way overrated, I don't think it would make my five worst list. It's
like "okay." Seagal is one of the worst actors of all time and
his films suck. I thought Back to School was pretty funny? But I haven't
seen it since 1987.
