Classic French actress Miou-Miou was born Sylvette Héry on February 22, 1950, in Paris.

Her first important part was in Bertrand Blier's Going Places (1974), co-starring Gerard Depardieu; then More French films; Diane Kurys' Entre Nous (1983) with Isabelle Huppert, a PG lesbian love story set in Europe during WWII; Dog Day with Lee Marvin, in 1984.

Ménage (1986), Deville's La Lectrice (1988), and May Fools (1990) followed. The international arthouse biopic Germinal (1993), and the huge French comedy Un indien dans la ville (1994), remade recently with Tim Allen. And The Eighth Day with Daniel Auteuil.

I was hardly affected by her up until this time. Then earlier this year she was great, and gorgeous at 50 in the French import, Dry Cleaning. A complete retrospective of her career is now in order for me.

She is a major French star, yet very little info on her appears on the web. And practically no info in English.

Elles is going to be released soon in the US, and hopefully thereafter Everything's Fine, We're Leaving (2000) and Hors jeu/Foul Play (1998).

I'm sorry, I don't know what to say, or how to put this. I don't think that nudity is wrong. Or sex. Or pleasuring oneself. But, it's difficult, because I consider this a serious (and the best -- in English anyway) site on Miou-Miou. Info and Pix are hard to come by. Celebrity nudity is frequent on the web. So, many of the following pix involve nudity. It seems juvenile, but when you get down to it, Miou-Miou performed nude in films, and she has nothing to be ashamed of (in re her body), so, anyway, in many of the pix I have of her she is nude, or partially nude. Also, many of the pix appear to be "scans" from video or dvd, and the quality is lesser. I apologize -- yet you will not find a better Miou-Miou site on the web!
