 In an interesting news item for fans of dogs, prosthetics and/or faux reproductive organs: Earlier this fall, the inventor of fake dog testicles won Harvard's "Ig Nobel Prize" for medicine. In the photo, inventor Gregg Miller holds a pair of his Neuticles -- the fake testicles implanted after an animal is neutered. Miller's website says Neuticles allow a pet "to retain his natural look" and "self esteem." Hot! He has already sold more than 150,000 (although I am not sure if that is pairs or not -- so it could be over 300,000 individual -- I hesitate to use terms like "nuts" or "balls" but, really, you can only say testicles so many times in a paragraph). But mainly, I love the crazy photo of Gregg and Max! The man is hugging his dog, wearing a maroon shirt, AND holding two fake balls in his hand -- all at the same time! Crazy!
