My friend Jeff Neilson said you wouldn't mind if I gave you my list all the way from 'lil ole England. By the way I think your site is great-very entertaining. My particular favourite actress at the moment has to be Christina Ricci although oddly none of her films are on the list- that makes me think I've just got to add 'Pecker'!

Here goes in no particular order:
1.Jackie Brown
2.Life is sweet
3.Midnight Express
4.Red River-and I don't like westerns!
5.Annie Hall
6.Flower of my secret
7.Fight Club
8.Pecker-added last minute
9.Secrets and Lies
10.American Beauty-yes I know it's too soon to say but I think it's great

Anyway, do with this what you will -say hi to Jeff for me.
P.S. Another film which could have been listed was the German movie 'Run Lola Run'-it's really stylish.

Okay, tedstrong.com has few problems with this list. Jackie Brown and Fight Club both made my best films of the 90s lists, American Beauty made my best of '99. Haven't seen the Mike Leigh films Secrets and Lies or Life is Sweet (but love the Chemical Brothers song). Red River is a masterpiece! Annie Hall is possibly Allen's best film -- classic! Haven't seen Pecker or Flower of My Secret. Midnight Express is your weakest entry to me. I just saw it and was like, "Yeah, okay, are we done here?"
