I have taken down the Toby Keith-Horse Fucking Story, which, while I had figured some might consider vulgar, I didn't think anyone would actually believe as being true.

On February 9, I received an email reportedly from Toby Keith's merchandise manager. As my intention here isn't to hurt anyone's feelings, I took down the story. Here's most of the email I received:

"Hey Ted
 
"I am concerned about your article on Toby Keith. While your website is actually pretty cool, I feel the article on Toby crosses the line. After having spent a good amount of time on your website, my thought is, 'You can do better regarding the Toby article.' If you want to poke fun, I, and most others in Toby's organization, would probably enjoy the humor but we fail to find it in the 'news story' you have posted.
 
"If I ask, will you remove or revise the article? If so, I am asking you to do so. I and many others who work for and with Toby would appreciate it. Toby is a first class person, his organization is first class and I am proud to be associated with him.
 
"As I said before, none of us mind some good, old-fashioned poking of fun but the bestiality thing goes a little too far.
 
"Thanks for your time..."
