Here's what the editors at tedstrong.com have to say about this list:

American History X, I just saw recently; not bad. Moulin Rouge I really liked. Memento I liked, but not as much as everybody else. Bridges of Madison County is rather sappy and maudlin. Harvey with James Stewart is quaint.

Leaving Las Vegas is good with two great lead performances. The Lover is very, very "hot." This is a movie that I have had parts of on tape for many years. Sometimes, when I'm feeling a certain way, I like to watch a few scenes from this movie. You must only get the unrated version. This film is sexually explicit. In a good way. Actually, sexually explicit is always in a good way.

Didn't see Once Were Warriors. To Have and Have Not is great, but not as good as The Big Sleep which was made a year later with Bogart and Bacall again, and again directed by the great Howard Hawks. Vertigo is one of the greatest films ever made. Maybe Hitchcock's best. And, Hitchcock is the best.

Amelie is sweet, cute and whimsical. Audrey Tautou is darling, and the cinematography was memorable. Haven't seen Best Years of Lives. Rebecca's great, but not even in my top ten favorite Hitchcock films. I didn't think Nightmare Before Xmas was very good.

I love "Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas." I haven't seen it in years, but I have fond memories.

E.T. is E.T. I tire of it easily. Haven't seen Hands on a Hard Body. Love, love, love Girl on the Bridge. Cider House Rules was fine. Roman Holiday was good, but not near as good as Sabrina or even Love in the Afternoon, if you ask me.

Casablanca, of course. Pulp Fiction is great, but I think Tarantino's next film, Jackie Brown is even better.

I never got into Willy Wonka the way so many of my peers did.

Seven rules.

Schindler's List is very good.
